Is it all worth it? Might I have been better simply transferring the files directly to my iPod? Is there some way round this? It's going to take days and days to convert all my CDs to FLAC, and it looks like it's then going to take me days and days to convert my FLACS to MP3s. At the moment, the best I can do is to use the original source file which means each folder now has two versions of each song: one in FLAC, and one in WAV. I need them to be converted to 320kbps MP3, including all the tagged information.Īnother problem is that I need to identify a source file for my converted files. I've tried it once and it produces WAV files. Plus, dragging them into FLACdrop is OK, but it is very laborious.
Will all the tagged information be present (i.e. My only concern is when I want to 're-convert' them to other formats (MP3, WAV etc.). Thanks for all your good advice everyone.
